The Currie Cobra Reunion Committee wanted to make you aware of the original plan of Ralph Wiedeman as a way to get all the Currie Cobras together for a reunion....

This has been Tape Recored and eyewitnesses can attest....

"Jim ( Jim Turner), hey, I have a great plan to get all those great kids back! Let's take out a public notice in the newspaper, and require all Currie students to return to the school due to a Currie credit issue which makes their high school diploma invalid.

We will announce that these kids MUST return to Currie to validate that each student has acquired the skill to earn this supposed missing credit. This will get them back to the school so we can enjoy a reunion!!"

Ralph is still crazy over VW's. He probably gets the most updated model every two years...loves that new car smell and needs to stay on top of things with the VW producers...

Ralph Weideman...our Currie Cobra custodian, our recess counselor, our assigned chocolate chip cookie napper...The Currie Cobra adult who made us laugh and feel our worth as a kid!

Ralph remembers best the waiting list of students desiring to take their lunch meeting with him...the favorite lunch venue...Del Taco off Dyer or the military base...these venues were always selected to ensure the students were never late for class....
