Occupation: Ophthalmic Assistant
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 Comments: I loved growing up in Tustin, and keep coming back to visit friends and family, but after years of wandering, I'm pretty firmly rooted in the Bay area. The classic late bloomer, I only met the man of my dreams 7 years ago, so Mark and I are still in the early years of parenthood (our boys are 5 and 3). I finally found work I love, too, and I've been in ophthalmology 9 years. I'm looking forward to a weekend back in real Beach Country and hearing about everyone else's journey to where they are! Occupation: Director
Website: www.imaginalcellsinc.com Marital Status: Married Comments: I was actor and musician for several years doing a lot of bad TV and films. I met my wife Whitney 15 years ago while doing a stage show in Seattle. These days we own a production comapny in Los Angeles where we work on a variety of TV shows and films. No children just a lot of dogs. I'm still best friends with Bill Horvath and of course David Storey whom I met while in detention at Currie thanks to Mr. Turner. My fondest memories are playing Gene Gene the Dancing Machine in the school talent show and dancing with Ms. Grumet at the end of the year dance. Yes I am a nerd. Send This Person a Message |

Occupation: Book Editor
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 1 Tell us about your favorite memory.: School dances where they would play Stairway to Heaven, and when they got to the fast part, no one would know what to do. We would all just stand there awkwardly, waiting for the slow dance part to return. Classic! Comments: I'm coming to the reunion because Jill Carter (my former co-worker) wouldn't stop bugging me about it! She promised me a good time. I'm going to hold you to it, Jill! But I am also looking forward to reconnecting with old friends! Send This Person a Message |

Occupation: IT Specialist
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 Tell us about your favorite memory.: The memory that is etched into my brain and I still talk about it has to be the Freedom Train. My kids don't beleive that it had all those cool things on one train bound to each one of the states. Comments: WOW! What an awesome idea. I never would have thought that so many people (Fellow Cobras) would have been touched the way each of you have expressed. I remember Currie very well, although I am not sure how many of you may remember me. I was pretty outgoing, yet shy enough to stay in the shadows of the quad. Probably the best memory for me is the Juke Box out near the stage in the middle of the quad. I stood next to it playing all kinds of music. Does anyone remember the "Scream" in the middle of "Love Roller Coaster" that was rumored to be a woman being murdered? - OR - Hearing "Tush" by ZZ-Top for the 17th billion time? Can anyone remember the ban on "Pop-Rocks" because some kid ate too many and drank Coke or something and his stomach exploded and killed him? It's funny because I remember Mr T not allowing Pop-Rocks and we would still tilt back our heads and pour them down our necks just to see if the rumor was true, which by the way it is not. And it was not the kid from the Life cereal commercial "Mikey" as some people have thought :) I really remember the "Look" and the pointing finger that Mr T would use to let us know that we were close to spending time in his office or picking up 10 pieces of paper in the quad because we were running or doing something so stupid that we would be "treated like 7th grade babies." It's pretty funny, reading through all your posts and short circuiting my brain with all the colors and memories from the past. Was anyone else "Punched" in the arm for not living up to Mr. Richardson's standards? Anyone remember playing soccer out on the field at break or lunch. I had two left feet when it came to sports. I think one of my nicknames was "Duck Feet" because I was wearing a size 10 and kept tripping everytime I tried to kick the ball. BTW I wear a size 10 to this day, although gravity plays a huge role in my lack of coordination today. I still can't play soccer, but that's mostly from the DunLop disease. I really don't know how Val tracked me down but I sure am glad she was successful. I am looking forward to being at the reunion if I can get all the specifics nailed down. I have two kids, Taylor at age 13 and Shelby-Anne at age 10. Been married now for 13 years and living in the Sacramento area supporting the IT infrastructure at Beale Air Force Base. This is the base that has the two spy plains you hear about on the news all the time. One has a pilot the other is remote controlled. Anyone that remembers me let me know. netjimb@gmail.com. Hope to see everyone soon! I'll get an old nerd Cobra picture and something recent posted soon. You'll all probably laugh as hard as I did when I found the picture. It really shows the mid 70's at it's best. Send This Person a Message |
